ABSOLUTE SINGLE-TURN Absolute encoders, contrary to the incremental ones, deliver their position even after cut of the supply voltage and do not require mechanical repositionning.
Single turn encoders allows the positionning in the revolution (0-360°). Absolute encoders provide Gray, binary or other specific code upon request. Three ranges are available: the 58mm POSI+TM the 90mm ROBUSTECHTM, the 200mm MAXXTM Posi + 58mm absolute encoders, solid or hollow through shaft, available with the standard communication interfaces

Setup kit In order to optimize the installation times of SSI encoders, BEI IDEACOD has developed friendly softwares, easy to use, with which it's possible to program your encoder under WINDOWS in only 2 minutes. With a simple connection to the serial connector of your PC, you can :

Intratex After the success of the marketing of its flame-proof encoders, BEI IDEACOD launches INTRATEX: range of incrémental encoders with intrinsic safety.
These encoders are especially designed for explosive atmosphere gas or dust. Their grounds of application are the chemical industry (painting, solvent, perfumes, rubber), the textile, the food one, wood, storage or petrochemistry.... They are labeled Ex II 1G/D, Eex ia IIC/b T4.

Intrinsic safety barrier A single barrier integrates the protected power and a protection for each outputsignal of the encoder.

TACHOENCODERS - OPTOTACHOS The tachoencoders and the optotachos use the non-contact opto-electronic reading device of the incremental encoders.
The optical system provides immunity to electromagnetics interference and noise. The analogic output is obtained by conversion of the frequency into a proportional current or voltage. The tachoencoders provide: - the signals of an incremental encoder - linear analogic signal depending on the rotation speed of the encoder The optotachos provide analogue signal only.
